The entire rural community was shocked when Zeke's mule kicked his mother-in-law to death. Just before the minister was about to start the funeral service, he said to Zeke, "She must have been a wonderful woman. Look at all the men who have left their work to attend the funeral."
"They ain't here to attend the funeral," Zeke said. "They all want to buy the mule."
