A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an american.She asked her students to raise their hand if they were american too.Not really knowing why but wanting to be like the teacher their hand pop up like big fierworks.There is, however, one exception. A girl named kristen did not raise her hand.The teacher asked why she decided to be diffrent. "Beacause im not american." then what are you? asked the teacher. "A proud canadian!" boasts the little girl. The teacher is mad now, her face turns slightly red. She asks kristen why she is candian. Well my mom and dad are canadian, so im canadian too. The teacher is now very angry. "thats no reason!" She says loudly. "what if your mom and dad were morons what would you be then?" A pause, and a smile "then," says kristen, "I would be american."
