A 3rd grader comes home from school with a homework assignment to find something purple. He goes up into the attic and finds purple curtains. He goes to school the next day and tells his teacher he found purple curtains. The teacher starts yelling at him for saying, "Purple Curtains", and sends him to the office. The Principal asks the boy why he was sent to his office. The boy said that he said purple curtains. The principal starts yelling at him and expels him. As he is walking home he sees some bullies that are skipping school. They ask him why he isn't in school. He tells them Purple curtains. They beat the crap out of him and sent him on his merry way. He gets to his house and his dad asks him why is is home early. The boy says Purple curtains. The dad kicks him out of the house. He is now living on the street when a talking dog walks up to him and asks why he doesn't have a house to sleep in. The boy says purple curtains. the dog starts barking and chases the boy into the street and the boy gets hit and killed by a semi truck.

The Moral of this story is:

Look both ways before crossing the street.
