Young Blonde

A young blonde woman from Poland was diagnosed with a fatal brain cancer and the doctors wanted to try a new experimental treatment of replacing her brain with one from a young woman who was suffering from an in curable spine injury that had left her unable to move any part of her body from the neck down.

Her parents were reluctant at first but finally agreed that they were going to lose their daughter anyway and that this might help to find a cure for others in the future. They gave their permission to continue with the experiment hoping that the paralyzed young woman would finally get her life back in the body of their daughter.

The operations were underway in adjoining OR’s and the young blonde’s brain had been removed and her body was being prepped for receiving her new brain. Suddenly the Operating Rooms went completely dark from a power failure in the local town. To make matters worse the backup generators only had enough power to sustain the life support systems of the two patient’s bodies.

When the lights finally came back, the doctors in the paralyzed woman’s operating room announced she was fine as they had not yet begun with the task of opening her skull. In the other room, however, the case was much different. It was discovered that the young blonde’s body had disappeared during the blackout. Her parents were deeply upset to hear this news, of course, and were devastated beyond all hope. They returned to their home to be with the rest of their family in mourning their beautiful young daughter’s loss.

Years later a remarkable story came to the ears of the young blonde’s parents. It was reported that their daughter had indeed been found and was actually alive and doing very well. It seemed that for the last few years she had been in the United States and was employed as the head of the Philosophy Department at the University of Mississippi.
