A blonde took a dream vacation to the island of Tahiti where she spent every morning walking up and down the pristine beaches. She took tons of pictures and found some beautiful shells, bits of colorful coral and even two of the biggest, blackest, most perfectly round black pearls the area is famous for.

She knew immediately she had to have them made into earrings and as soon as she got home she headed to her local jewelry store.

"Good morning." she said, placing the pearls on the counter, "I'd like these made into earrings, please."

"Wow, those are huge but I'm sorry," said the jeweler, "I don't think I can help you."

"Are you suuuure?" whined the blonde.

"Yes, I'm sure. We just don't have mountings big enough."

"I’m crushed,” she said. “I really had my heart on getting these made into earrings. Do you know of another place around here that might be able to help me?”

“Honestly? No.” he shrugged.

“But why?” asked the blonde.

“Because those are bowling balls.” said the frustrated jeweler.
