25 Times People Found Lost Treasures

Nothing is ever truly lost, we'll except my keys whenever I'm trying to leave the house, but you get the point. If something can be lost, that means it can also be found. So while no one in this lot found a treasure chest underneath the house, they did find some cool relics from the past.

Found this tiny knife with German writing and a tassel in my 130-year-old attic.

“Bought my house and found this hidden safe when removing an old stove that was left here.”

Dad found a ‘General Education’ book from 1881 in our attic.

Found this bottle of Elvis Presley’s ‘Love Me Tender’ conditioning shampoo, from 1985, in my attic.

These old hinges on the front door of my uncle’s house. I think the house was built in the late 1800s.

I just found a marriage certificate from 1841 in the attic of my house.

An old key found while replacing a bathroom door. The house was built in 1938. The key did not fit the existing door.

Previous homeowner stopped by with photographs of days gone by.

Just got the keys to our 1916 home — pulled up the bedroom carpet to find this.

Blue Willow toaster circa 1927, still works.

A relative left me a box of creepy dolls when she moved to Australia. I haven’t slept much in 3 days.

Late Victorian fireplace with original tiling artwork. Metalwork is possibly original and freshly repainted. London, UK.

My granny showed me a black wedding dress from the end of the 19th century. She said it belonged to a 20-year-old woman who married an 83-year-old man.
15.
Mom decided to go through granny’s closets. We found umbrellas, shampoos, pots, stockings, and irons.

House built around 1900. After a recent flood, we were renovating it and found external walls inside our walls.
17.
Family heirloom watch that was passed down to me. Traces of the family photo carried on the back are still visible.
18.
120+ year old jewelry from my great grandmother.

Found this drawing in the crawl space under the stairs of our house (built in 1955).
