When somebody asks why you don't have kids, show them these memes as you smile sweetly and think about all the money, sleep, and freedom you get to enjoy.

Now, don't get me wrong the process of MAKING kids is pretty fun (at first) and I certainly enjoy a good "(un)dress rehearsal" for that whenever I can get it, but actually HAVING a kid sounds kind of terrible. It's not that I don't like children - on the contrary, I love them and spending time with my nieces and nephews is truly delightful and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love seeing the way they move through the world and form their ideas and opinions and grow into the people they will become.

All that said, I also REALLY love being able to see those things for a few hours here and there, and then dropping them off at home where their parents can worry about things like wiping noses, paying for doctors and schools, coordinating schedules, and dealing with teenage angst.
