    there are actually different types of
albinism hypomelanism is a partial lack of
melanin pigment in the eyes skin and hair,
albinos of this sort will often have blue
eyes and a light yellow tint to their hair
while amelanism is a total loss of all
pigmentation in the skin hair and eyes and
thus will result in red eyes because there
is no pigmintation in the iris you are
seeing the blood vessels behind the eye
