This picture was taken inside the old city hall in Independence IA. Kinda makes me wonder what the cops and city really stand for. Some people have commented that it is a reverse symbol of a swastika and means prosperity and good luck. I don't buy that for a second. Why would a public hall choose a symbol that is so closely resembles a sign of death and evil unless they wanted it to match the symbol itself?
