Now this is indicitave of a true mori; back then, a pic involved sitting a long while. Notice the blurring of the parents during exposure in comparison to their daughter... -

Propping up the dead with stands gave that dignified look. Closer inspection reveals rigidity of the fingers and complete milky white-out of the pupils! -

The girl is the one who's dead. Cropping cut out the stand used to prop her in place. Though you can still see painted-on pupils.
