The Casma Palla Palla group, led by Santos Sabino Calla-Cayo, are being threatened by a mining company known as Suyamarca-Quellopata Mining SAC, owned by 2 Mining companies: Hochschild Mining PLC and International Minerals. The indigenous group needs help because they are receiving death threats and having their homes destroyed without contracts.

Mr. Santos Sabino Calla-Cayo. President of Casma Palla-Palla. was receiving threats from Suyamarca SAC Mining group. His family were beaten and a relative was kidnapped by the Manager that is representing Suyamarca mining subsidiary of Hochschild Mining PLC and International Minerals. CEO, Eduardo Hochschild, may have managed to have his legal team lobby the Peruvian courts to stall the Lawsuits submitted by Mr. Santos Calla-Cayo's lawyers, but Santo's team is trying to pursue an international level since their OIT-169 rights have been ignored by the Peruvian government.
