Spook or Spooked. This word is used in conjunction with scary ghosts or being freaked out. But it derives from the late 18th century, as a racist term comparing blacks to ghosts for "blending in" to the night sky. -

Barbarian. The ancient Greeks claimed that all foreign languages sounded like "bar bar" and other garbled nonsense. Soon "barbarian" came about as a label for outsiders. Today is mostly refers to an uncultured individual. -

Tinker. Used by Brits to refer to certain races as "inconsequential". -

Jock. It started as an insult in sporting terms, referring to Scottish players or supporters. An author wrote about being nicknamed the "jock" who came from "jockland" while living in London. -

Hun. This word was used against Germans in WWI, then as an offensive term for Protestants in Northern Ireland. -

Hip Hip Hooray. Derives from the German "hep hep", once used by shepherds turned Nazis who herded Jews into ghettos and camps like sheep. Also in reference to the "Hep Hep Riots", again involving persecution of Jews. -

Hooligan. This word came specifically from the Houlihan family of London in 1898. Because of legal problems, the term was used to describe Irish people as brutish and disorderly. -

Gyp. To use this term or refer to it in reference to being ripped off is actually highly racist. It derives from Romani immigrants being called "gypsies" since it was believed they looked like ancient Egyptians. Worse, it stereotyped Romani people as those who cheated, stole, and swindled money at every turn.
