Chris Hadfield said everyone gets nauseous in space, but the will the get out there is greater. Also, the barfbags are supposedly astronauts bestfriend. -

He also said the Space Station can be very smelly- the toilet is in the middle of the ship, there are up to seven people using it on a small ship. -

But he added that ISS was not smelly- the ventilation system was good enough to clear the air. -
4.
Mir Space Station on the other hand ventilation system was not so good- "it smells like an old basement". -

People train in water to prepare for space, but that's not entirely accurate- in space it's easy to start moving but it's harder to stop and swimming can't simulate that. -

You can "grow" in space. Yi So-yeon said she got higher in space, it took her 3 hours and it took her also 3 hours on Earth to get to her normal height but the pain was terrible. -
17.
Hadfield said it's hard to get used to masses of people around you on Earth, while Yi So-yeon adds being the first astronaut in her country made her a celebrity and everyone knows her now. -

Watching Earth from a new perspective changes some views. Linenger said he was astounded by trees when he came back from space, he said the color green was so beautiful on our planet.
