Jason Dixon is a homeowner and businessman from Deer Park, Ohio. Like many, his holiday decorations included a Nativity scene. Only his manger is full of the undead. -

See, Dixon just happens to be in the haunted-house business. So he decided to give his Nativity scene a ghoulish twist: ZOMBIES. -

That's right. In Dixon's massive outdoor display, Mary, Joseph, even the blessed 8-pound, 6-ounce, newborn infant Jesus, are all flesh-eating walkers. "I wanted a nativity scene and I worked with what I had," Dixon told The Week -

If you're a fan of The Walking Dead, or just zombie lore in general, the display is hilarious and amazing. But local officials aren't laughing. -

Sycamore Township, the 12-town municipality conglomerate that includes Deer Park, has threatened to fine Dixon $500 every day the zombie nativity remains on display.Last year, Township officials told him he had to take it down because he didn't have the proper permits. This year, he went ahead and applied for the permit - but was denied. According to The Week, he was denied because the structure takes up more than 35 percent of his front yard. But Dixon thinks that's just a bullshit excuse.
