When he lived here in the 50s, he recorded as a sideman with Jimmy Reed, Little Walter, Billy Boy Arnold, and Howlin Wolf, eventually spending a dozen years in Wolfs band. He returned to Baton Rouge in 1968, but his back-alley vocals and two-fisted piano playing still blend swamp blues with driving Windy City shuffles. --BD For more info httpwww.HammondCast.com c2007
