Patrick Barrett, who killed his fiancée by smashing her head with a hammer, closed his eyes Thursday as his videotaped confession to police was played in Ontario Superior Court. Barrett told police that after killing Charles, he went back to the kitchen, saw her name written in his Bible, ripped out the pages and stabbed them into her chest.
