Contrary to the message emblazoned on the “World’s Best Golfer” mug given to millions of dads each Father’s Day, hitting the green with the boys once or twice a summer does not a pro golfer make, a lesson one mansplaining weekend warrior recently learned the hard way.

On Tuesday, aptly-named PGA pro Georgia Ball headed to social media with a glimpse at one of the many annoyances that come with being a female athlete — random guys automatically assuming they can beat you at your own game.

In her now-viral clip, Bell’s solo driving-range session quickly took a turn for the worse after an unknown man approached her, insistent on “fixing” her already expert-level swing. “What you’re doing there, you shouldn’t be doing that,” he admonished her from behind the camera, Ball visibly in disbelief as he instructed her to swing “right through” the ball.

Despite politely explaining that she was “going through a swing change,” meaning her technique was wholly by design, the man refused to relent, offering her even more unsolicited advice. “You know, I’ve been playing golf for 20 years,” he continued, still blissfully unaware of Ball’s pro status. “What you need to do is follow through.”

After several more interruptions from the wannabe instructor, Ball took another approach in proving her point, performing a nearly perfect swing — and giving the man a taste of his own medicine. “I don’t know whether you see or watch golf, the best players in the world, when they are making a practice swing or going through a swing change,” she explained, before shooing him away with a curt “thank you for your advice.”

His mug should say “Biggest A-Hole in One.”
