After the school shooting in Erfurt in 2002,Scheithauer founded the Fairplayer association. Staff of the non-profit organization visit schools and speak to students and teachers about how to stop the cycle of exclusion,ridicule and despair. Through role play,students learn to intervene before dangerous patterns can lead to disaster.
