If you live in California, you better watch your tail. That’s because there’s a man who’s apparently approaching random people, crouching next to them, and taking a deep, long sniff of their behind.

Many people feel justifiably violated by this, and so, they’ve repeatedly reported him to the police, resulting in multiple arrests going back as far as 2021. The police even have a name for him: “Butt Sniffer” (hey, no one said the name was creative).

His most recent arrest took place at a Nordstrom Rack in Los Angeles, but previous incidents have happened at a variety of locations — so, if you see someone crouching next to you at the shoe section of TJ Maxx, you know who to call!
