The item, which was once common, is now a hot commodity on the site.

Images of a person of interest in the Charlie Kirk case have been released by the FBI. While not much is known about the alleged perpetrator, what we do know is the shirt he was wearing: a black long-sleeve with an eagle and an American flag that reads “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.”

Unsurprisingly, this shirt is now all over eBay.

As noted in a piece by Zakir Jamal for Haloscope, these shirts are fairly common, given out by a charity called the “Disabled Veterans National Foundation.” The charity itself is a bit suspicious (it has a one-star rating on Charity Navigator), but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to make a good T-shirt.

While the shirt was initially distributed to promote the aforementioned charity, now, it seems that people are trying to turn their shirt into a quick buck. Some are advertising the shirt explicitly mentioning Kirk’s alleged attacker; others are listing knockoff versions of the shirt posted right after the image of the person of interest went live.

“Land of the free, home of the brave” indeed.
