Elon Musk’s New Wikipedia Competitor Is Literally Just Wikipedia
It’s really easy to open your own Wikipedia if you just copy-paste the old Wikipedia.

Elon Musk has decided to launch yet another company. This one is called “Grokipedia,” and claims to be a competitor to Wikipedia that removes all of the “woke.” This is a little difficult to believe given that, as reported by The Verge, a lot of the site is just pages that have been copied and pasted from Wikipedia.
The Verge author Jay Peters notes that some pages include clarification that content on the page is “adapted from Wikipedia, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License.” In some cases, these “adaptations” involve few if any changes — meaning that they literally just highlighted the whole Wikipedia page, pasted it onto another website, then called it a business.
“Even Grokipedia needs Wikipedia to exist,” Lauren Dickinson, a spokesperson for the Wikimedia Foundation, told The Verge.
There’s a lesson here. If you want to open a new business but can’t think of any ideas, don’t worry — you can always just steal an old one!
