In Hamilton, Ontario, a bus driver stepped out for a quick break — only for someone break into his bus, start the thing up, and take it for a drive.
Normally, this would be a major concern. But this man didn’t want to cause chaos; he just wanted to ride the route. And that’s exactly what he did. He picked up passengers and dropped them off at the scheduled stops, and even refused to board someone who had an expired pass.
In total, he made it about 15 minutes before the police pulled the bus over and apprehended the man. While they’re still charging him, even the cops had to admit that the dude had a totally respectable go at being a real bus driver.
"There was not a ding on the bus. He did a great job,” McKenna detailed. “It's comical but at the same time it's serious. We're thankful nobody was hurt.”
