The coffee giant recently debuted what they’re calling the “Bearista.” In short, it’s a winter-themed cup in the shape of a bear.

How did the launch go? Well, there were mad rushes to get the cups, people became so aggressive toward each other that some left with bruises, and Starbucks ended up having to make an apology about the whole situation. So, great!

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, people were lining up outside their local Starbucks in the early morning hours to get the Bearista cups. Once inside, there was a mad dash to purchase them — which resulted in people screaming and getting into physical altercations with each other.

Now, Starbucks says they’re sorry about how everything went down. That said, they’re not telling whether they plan to release the Bearistas again — so if you’re going to try to get one of the few that remain in-store, you better bring your boxing gloves.
