A South Carolina teaching assistant named Alexander Lewis was arrested earlier this week after it was alleged that he had been using a poop-scented spray in the workplace.

According to deputies, Lewis used the spray around his school for over three weeks, causing headaches, nausea and nearly $55,000 in inspection fees as administrators tried to figure out where the heck the smell was coming from.

We don’t know why he did this — maybe he just likes the smell of feces — but regardless, he won’t be able to share his love of it anymore, as he’s been arrested on charges of disturbing schools and malicious injury to property with additional charges potentially to come.
