Trump Says Screw It, Just Release the Files

Just days after we all learned he has a lot to hide, Trump says he has nothing to hide.

For months, President Trump has been hounded by people telling him to “release the files.” Of course, he hasn’t done so yet — and his administration has given numerous reasons as to why. First, they said there was nothing in them. Second, they said they didn’t exist (after already confirming that they existed). Third, they said that releasing them would hurt people. Finally, they realized they were out of reasons and decided to effectively just give us the finger.

Since then, news outlets have been getting their hands onto some of these files — and, boy, does it not look good for pretty much everyone involved. While the financier may have been known for his secrecy, his emails and birthday book show that he discussed his “interests” pretty openly — and that everyone around him, including our President, seemed to be aware of the sort of terrible things he got up to.

Trump has apparently seen this and decided to take the black pill. In a recent post on Truth Social, the President said that Republicans should vote to release the files because they have “nothing to hide.”

Given that, it means that the “files” we’re going to get (if we ever actually get them) will likely be heavily redacted and focus on certain individuals more than others. But hey, I don’t care — just give us something! The girlfriends of the world are already tired of us talking about it!
