I can't say I've ever seen or heard of the sport of escalator sledding, but I do know that this crazy kid has definitely mastered the art. Carrying his sled under one arm while heading up the escalator, just like you would do at a snow park, the kid calmly disregards the mall cop who is aware of, yet powerless to stop his master plan.

Waiting like the polite patient person he is for an empty escalator, he seizes his opportunity and absolutely rockets down the moving metal staircase like he's on ice. Except he's not, he's face first on a plastic sled on a mall escalator. The mall cop is ready for him at the bottom, but in one smooth motion he gathers up his sled and runs off, outrunning her with the speed that must come so naturally to him. Even his choice to go down head first shows this kid's legendary disregard for literally anything other than his ability to have a good time.
