Road Redemption.

Through the 90's Road Rash was a favorite among kids who liked the idea of punching people while riding a motorcyle. Despite its popularity, it faded into nothingness just a few years later.

Thankfully, a game made in its likeness was released today. It's called Road Redemption, and it's quickly catching on with PC gamers.

Road Redemption is a motorcycle racing game where you can maim other drivers using pipes, spiked maces, wrenches, katanas, and more. The creators say it's "more like Twisted Metal than Mario Kart", which is rather clear when you see how other riders can be decapitated by weapons.

It's got online and splitscreen co-op, a campaign, a skill tree to unlock new weapons, and and apparently it's pretty good because it's holding a 'Very Positive' review average on Steam.

90's game have seen a resurgence this generation with reboots of Tomb Raider, DOOM, Wolfenstein, Thief, Prey, and more.
