Really this isn't going to end the war on terror, but what it can do is get troops out of the Middle East and give us time to rethink this.  It all starts with how the Terrorist get there money.  Opium. Opium is used to make drugs, which they sell to Americans, to kill Americans, very smart. The way around it is to get the farmers to sell the opium plants to medical people because it is used to make morphine.  Very simple right? Offer the farmers protection from the terrorist and in return Western medical facilities will by the opium, and then you cut off there supply of money, mainly because the Saudi's no longer give them oil money to help them.  if we could do this we could pull more troops out and the ones left would be there in a protection position which eventually would be taken over by local governments, all while stimulating the economy in the middle east. Anyone see why we can't do this? Cause you can't win an occupation.
