Infinity . If infinity plus 1 is still infinite , it must be so that infinity minus 1 is still infinite . To do otherwise is to define infinity . So you can divide infinity by 1 000 000 and it is still infinite . That is the definition of infinity  . So infinity plus 1 ,  or minus 1 ,  is the same number .
