Happy 4th Birthday To My Princess Makayla!!!

May 5th 2010, at around 5pm is day I went in to be induced with my daughter I was so scared and so nervous, would she be healthy, and who she would look like more is what I kept thinking about. As soon as the doctor came in to start prepping I started shaking. Being induced was very painful they used a balloon type thing to induce me, and I had to keep it in over night at the hospital.   May 6th 2010, all I can remember is how much pain I was in all day from the contractions, I was only 2-3cm so I wasn't ready for Makayla to come yet. I wasn't allowed to have any medicine or food yet, and I kept wondering why she wasn't here yet.   May 7th 2010, she still wasn't here yet and I was really worried about her, the pain was so terrible. I was finally able to get an epidural, and they induced me with the pitocin, but the pain was still horrible and I kept feeling that epidural in my back and it didn't tickle. The doctor was finally able to take the balloon type thing out before the epidural, and I was 5cm. He then broke my water and It was such the weirdest feeling like I was peeing myself, and then we waited...  May 8th 2010, she wasn't here and the pain was still here and all I wanted was to hold her and be with her already. The doctor said I was only 7cm and he couldn't do anything yet. The doctor came in again and said her heart rate was dropping and I was so scared and starting crying, so they said they needed to do a c-section, something I really didn't want but I didn't care because it was it was about your safety. At 8:52am you were finally here, so beautiful and healthy and that is all I could have asked for was that you were healthy. Makayla you have brought so much joy to my life, and I don't know what I would do without you. You are my world and my everything, I am so lucky to have you as my daughter. Happy 4th Birthday my little princess mommy loves you so much!!!
