Miracle cures.

I have heard several people say that they haveĀ  experienced miracles in their life.

I guess this is fine and true. However, the miracle they say they had, is too far fetched to be true.

The first one was a guy on TV who used to be an alcoholic. He got sick of drinking all the time, so he turned on the TV to a religious program. After watching the show for a while, he said a prayer and asked god to take away his desire for alcohol. Just as soon as he finished praying, he felt so peaceful he took his remaining bottles of whiskey and beer and dumped them out. Then he never even wanted another drink ever again.

The next one was just a few days ago on the radio in Orlando, FL. This guy had a lot of problems. He could not hear very well, his back hurt and he could not move his torso very much. He went to a local church and said a prayer with the preacher. As soon as they said Amen, he said, "Wow. I feel much better, my back doesn't hurt at all any more, I can move with out pain. I can also hear a mosquito on the wall all the way across the room!" Wow, I am healed.

Other people go up to the preacher in a wheel chair, they pray and that dude stands up out of the wheel chair and walks away. Obviously, that person was not crippled in the first place!

Don't get me wrong, I believe in and love god, I just don't believe in these bull shit stories of miracle cures. If this worked, every christian would have no problems at all. All we would have to do is say a quick prayer and we would have a good job, making $150/Hr., we would never of had any problems with money or anything else at all.

I don't know who these people think they are fooling or why they are trying to do it.
