One of my friends is a Constitutional lawyer who owns an impressive law firm.  We were discussing why corporations act with little or no regard for the public or the environment one day.  I had found this link and had posted it as a possible explanation.

My lawyer friend said that she requires all the lawyers and staff she hires to watch the full video before she hires them.  It is her opinion that the Supreme Court giving them the ability to give undisclosed and unlimited amounts of money to political campaigns is equivalent to giving the patients the keys to the asylum.  As if corporate interference in elections wasn't bad enough before, corporations now have the ability to limit the choices of the voters by flooding their favorite candidates with enough money to eliminate competition from those who don't have huge corporate backing.  They can basically "hire" politicians who will write laws in their favor at the expense and detriment of the taxpayers as they continue to decrease their tax burden and receive grants from the government which are also paid for by the taxpayers.

The Hare Psychopathy Checklist lists these traits of a psychopath.

The Compenetration Weblog states.

"The symptoms of psychopathy include: lack of a conscience or sense of guilt, lack of empathy, egocentricity, pathological lying, repeated violations of social norms, disregard for the law, shallow emotions, and a history of victimizing others."

Now, seeing that corporations as legal persons are psychopaths, and considering that the Supreme Court has now given them all the rights of a person, shouldn't they be in a psychiatric institution?
