In 2013 I drove across Canada to Montreal to photograph a pet Fox named Miko.

The trip was amazing as my Friend Chris and I drove over mountains and through Ice cap glaciers.

From one Province to the Next we traveled, Sunrise to sunset are left behind us until we finally reached our destination, Anda and her Pet Champagne Fox.

He was so well behaved at Little rascal running every which way. At first it was hard to capture good photos because his furry white heart beat wouldn't stop moving but he soon tired and with a faster shutter speed 1/2000 I was able to freeze his sky blue eyes and his happy self.

You could see the passion in Anda's face with every muscle squeezed, she held him Dearly.

2014 a year after my wonderful Photo shoot I caught news that Miko was snatched by Anda's Ex- friend while She was at school. I couldn't imagine her pain when she walked to her backyard only to find an Empty cage with broken doors and roughed up snowy foot prints leading to the wired fence and back out to to a waiting car.

For two days she searched for her Miko thinking that maybe he had escaped her captures. Her Ex-friend had gone into hiding.

Then the unbelievable and most tragic outcome came to reality....Miko was found beaten to death and inside a Garbage bag in a field.

The Fox world was at shock and in moaning, Why would somebody do this to a little snowflake critter. His life wiped out at such a young age.
