37 Boeing 737 Memes That Won't Lose a Door Mid-Flight

Ever since an Alaskan Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 lost a non-usable emergency door mid-flight on January 5th, the company has felt like it is in complete free fall. Multiple airlines have discovered faults in their own versions of the plane, and Boeing has been shown to be responsible for the incident over Spirit AeroSystems, whom they initially blamed. United has decided to completely remove the aircraft from its future plans, and Delta's recent acquisition of 20 new Airbus A350s shows just how far Boeing has fallen from its days of American air travel monopoly.

Lack of trust in the 737 Max began in 2018 when a Lion Air Max 8 crashed in China. Just five months later, an Ethiopian Airlines version went down too. With the accidents eerily similar, Boeing was investigated, and a stinging documentary came out later. Boeing had long been accused of cutting corners for the sake of sales and production speed, and that had finally been proven. Although it appears that those catastrophic issues have been solved, the recent groundings are proof that Boeing needs a complete revamp when it comes to its operating procedures. And by the time that's done... the metaphorical door might have come off completely.
