Though all may be well between Taylor Swift and her new beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, it appears the pop princess may be in the throes of another very rocky relationship — one with her ragdoll cat, Benjamin Button, according to the ever-reliable “green line test.”

Shortly after TIME named Swift as their 2023 Person of the Year, sharing several photos of the “Cruel Summer” artist — including one featuring Mr. Button strewn across the star’s shoulders — on social media, “green line” guru Rivelino (a.k.a. @alpharivelino) argued that this pose pawed at trouble in paradise, asserting that the now-iconic snap proved the pair are getting along less-than purrrrr-fectly.

“Taylor Swift and Benjamin Button failed the Green Line Test,” he captioned the photo, noting that while the singer was “straight,” her “pussy facing the world” — and her hand placement hinting that she may be “sexually frustrated” — her cat was “leaning away.” “Is their relationship in trouble?”

While the world may never know the behind-the-scene drama between Swift and her kitten, one thing is certain — there’s a reason the lyric is “karma is a cat, purring in my lap 'cause it loves me” and not “karma is my ragdoll cat, Benjamin Button, purring in my lap 'cause it loves me.”
