It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a black flying blob with a fighter jet escort?

For one Las Vegas driver, this isn’t the premise of an Arrival sequel but the events of a recent trip down a local freeway in January.

“I noticed an object in the sky looked like it was falling,” the unidentified driver recalled of her now-viral UAP-sighting, one archived on UFO cataloging startup, enigma.io. “I took out my camera, zoomed in on the object, and noticed it had an oval shape to it. Also, I seen multiple jets flying towards it.”

But even with this horrifying description, the incident was a whole lot crazier than this recap, a sighting defined by confused exclamations, panic, and meticulous zooms that would make even Ken Burns weep with pride.

“It’s a UFO over there!” the woman can be heard yelling, her car halted in the shoulder as a vague, transparent ring — one so faint it first resembled a smudge — zoomed around the vast southwest sky.

“It’s right there!” she exclaimed while locking in on the unsettling, suspended object. “They’re following it!”

But whether or not this clip is legit, we can safely say we want to believe … that this is an actual UAP and not just a leftover Disneyland smoke ring
