Are you sad that you weren’t smited during Monday’s solar eclipse? Are you an Evangelical Christian dying [pun intended] to ascend to heaven? Are you just really, really tired of living? If so you may be in luck — another rapture is reportedly on the way.

Days after April 8 turned out not to be a doomsday worthy of vigorous prayer and extreme tips, far-right folks have already managed to reschedule the apocalypse … just as they did six years ago.

Back in 2018, several outlets, including Fox News and USA Today reported that numerologist David Meade pointed to Revelations 12:1-2 as proof that “the end of the world is imminent, with Earth set to be destroyed on April 23.”

While the story in question may be more than half a decade old, the fine people of Twitter took the prediction and ran, joking about how repeat “rapture survivors” are always ravenous for another doomsday.

“For those who missed the rapture on April 8, there's another one coming in 2 weeks,” joked @KellyPearsall3 alongside a screengrab of the Fox article. “Better be ready this time!”

“No. It is now moved to April 23, 2024 to a nearby Rapture Inducing Church,” @chrisstl123 captioned a photo of a sign touting this week’s failed doomsday.

“The rapture always seems to be coming but never seem to actually come,” added @Zoletlionheart.

The only thing worse than not getting raptured? Being six-years late to the end-of-world party.
