Rumor has it the usher had to say Boebert’s name three times to get her to leave.

Surveillance footage has leaked of Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert being kicked out of a performance of Beetlejuice the Musical in Denver, Colorado last weekend.

The politician and a male companion were warned by the ushers during intermission that they were disrupting the performance by allegedly “vaping, singing, [and] causing a disturbance.”

When Act 2 began, Boebert took out her phone and started recording the show. Boebert was “argumentative” after the usher told her to leave—going so far as to threaten to call the police.

In the surveillance video, Boebert is stomping out of the theater, not forgetting to flip off the ushers escorting her and her partner out. Boebert’s campaign manager Drew Sexton did some damage control, reporting that the Congresswoman “appreciates the Buell Theatre’s strict enforcement of their no photos policy and only wishes the Biden Administration could uphold our border laws as thoroughly and vigorously.”

“I remember when theaters used to be much more dangerous for politicians,” responded @gr8tvaluebiggie on Twitter.

The theater is a sacred place and the last thing an audience member wants to experience is their seat neighbor (who also happens to be their local representative) blowing smoke circles and singing along to “The Banana Boat Song.”
