Despite the now-viral tale of Shakira and her former flame/Twingo spokesman Gerard Pique, it seems not all of us can use suspiciously empty jam jars as a means of discovering our S.O.s have been unfaithful, a sentiment it seems the fine people of Reddit know all too well.

Earlier this week, Redditor u/Kindayoungbutok – an account that is *definitely not* a burner account for known farter Leonardo DiCaprio attempting to see if his now 19-year-old girlfriend is cheating on him — took to the platform with a noble inquiry: “what is a dead giveaway that you’re being cheated on?”

Garnering more than 17.9k upvotes in its first two days on the platform, it seems there are many ways to catch a cheater — including super old social media platforms.

“My ex would sleep with her phone under her pillow,” recalled u/Cophed.

“I had an idea it was happening and would keep an eye on this guys [sic] MySpace. Then he posted one of the questionnaire things that were popular at the time, one of the questions was who did you last kiss? And his answer was my ex,” they continued, “MySpace Tom had my back.”

Yet it seems you don’t need bygone social platforms to realize your partner is going behind your back – just ask u/RollTacker, whose dog offered a key clue regarding their lover’s infidelity.

“Your dog vomits another woman’s underwear,” they wrote, a sentiment that (probably) launched 1,000 dog adoptions. But it’s not just the dog —it seems Little Caesars can do more than offer mid-but-good-for-its-cost pizza.

“When Little Caesar's texts them to say they're hot and ready,” added @GrifterDingo
