Did you know that Disney stole the entire plot of the Lion King? Not only did they steal the plot, but they straight up mimicked the entire movie almost shot for shot, from the original Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor), released in 1950 by Manga Shonen magazine.
The "directors" of The Lion King even had the nerve to deny ever hearing or seeing the original film Kimba the White Lion. Which is strange because not only are the lion's names similar but so are the movies, like shot for shot the same. And in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, The Lion King co-director Rob Minkoff said, “Frankly, I’m not familiar with [the TV series],” whatever you say, bro!
They really stole the whole goddamn movie, like the entire damn thing. And they just made a BILLION dollars on the remake, of their stolen remake.
We rest our case.
