Why mind your own business at the gym when you could comment on strangers’ bodies? That’s the mindset fitness influencer Loren — a.k.a. @wifey222you — had during a recent trip to Planet Fitness, opting to roast another patron’s butt instead of focusing on her workout.

“Ok, the BBLs have gone too far,” Loren began her now-infamous clip, one depicting a woman minding her own business while on a treadmill. “Like tooo farrrrrrrrr.”

Though the influencer quickly turned off comments on her viral clip, several still found ways to share their disdain surrounding her seemingly mean-spirited video.

“Recording people without them knowing and posting it is weirdo behavior period,” Instagram user @annie.penta commented on a re-upload of the clip shared to meme page @poetic_style.

“It cost $0 to mind your fkn business. Is her body my cup of tea? No. But would I get online and publicly shame her for TikTok views? NO,” added @shes.so.cxld, before alleging that Loren’s commentary “screams insecurity.”

Despite this backlash, one echoed by several TikTok users in various stitches, Loren refused to back down, defending her right to film strangers.

“We’re in public, anything can happen in public,” the influencer explained in a follow-up video. “If you’re in private, it’s different. We have rights. We have the law.”

But regardless of whether or not Loren was legally in the right, one thing is certain: Roasting randos’ bodies is never a cute look.
