Fans of the Philadelphia Phillies recently proved that when it comes to hitting women, it’s one strike and you’re out, turning on one of their own for his alarming behavior at a Luke Combs concert last weekend.

It all began when a massive brawl broke out ahead of Comb’s show at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday. Before the performance, which had been pushed back due to thunderstorms, several of the singer’s female fans began duking it out while awaiting the “Fast Car” artist’s highly-anticipated show.

As the women went at it, a scuffle complete with punching, tackling and what appears to be an overpriced alcoholic slushie biting the dust, one man, who some have flagged as one of the fighters’ boyfriends, decided to get in on the action.

After hopping the barricade and into the clash, the man, clad in a Phillies jersey, appeared to punch one woman in the head and shove another to the ground, a series of behaviors that set social media seething.

“Trigger warning: Man in Phillies jersey beats up girls, at a Luke Combs concert,” wrote @Tori_Philly4 alongside her viral upload of the clip. “He needs to be stripped of his Phillies attire, and be replaced with an orange jumpsuit STAT.”

Though a few dudebros quickly jumped to his defense, several others slammed the fan’s decision to hit women, no matter the reason.

“I get pulling them off his girl if that was the case but bro didn’t need to swing on them,” wrote @hartgoat.

“He isn’t defending his girlfriend he just wants his little abusive moment,” wrote @realboytears, denouncing the man in question as “a *****.”

Moral of the story? Don’t hit women, lest you get roasted by the entire internet. After all, you know it’s bad when Phillies fans are coming after you.
