Going through airport security is a drag — you’re trying to take your shoes and belt off quickly, there’s always someone yelling at you to hurry up, someone’s forgotten to get their bag of liquids out, someone else is getting pulled aside for a bomb residue swab. It’s an ordeal. But one group of friends may have inadvertently found a way to spice up an otherwise unpleasant experience — with booze.

In the caption, OP explains that they weren’t allowed to take their bottles of alcohol through TSA — presumably because they were larger than the allowed limit — but they didn’t want to waste their precious cargo, so they offered shots of Malibu to everyone in line. Hilariously, two of the girls pulled down their masks to take a shot, despite drinking from the same bottle being very much not COVID safe.

According to one of the girls in the video, the group was headed to Miami, which explains the choice of alcohol — drinking Malibu anywhere but near the beach feels unnatural and wrong. Despite that, several girls indulged, including one girl in the background who threw back with her own bottle of Ciroc while everyone else took shots of Malibu.

Comments were largely supportive, with the top comment reading, “Miami ain’t ready ,” although, as someone else pointed out, this comes with its own risks, namely, “Now y’all all arrested for public intoxication ”.

I’m sure it was an interesting flight, but at least they were ready to go by the time they got to Miami.
