Women on TikTok have unlocked a new way to keep other women from swarming their men, who presumably are Greek gods who constantly find themselves having to beat women off with a stick: Post videos of them bowling.

Its a creative experience

Seriously, if you aren’t already in love with and invested in someone, seeing them bowl will be enough to give you the ick, and Serena’s video is just one example. It starts with her boyfriend doing a little wiggle before he walks up; from there, he swings the ball around several times, bowls and immediately starts thrusting his hips in anticipation of his strike.

It is what can only be described as troubling, although several commenters found it endearing, with one person calling the behavior in the video a green flag, while someone else described it as “Jim Carrey bowling.”

The boyfriend featured in another video is somewhat less impressive, managing to throw the ball across multiple lanes instead of not doing that. If that wasn’t enough, his reaction — standing with his hands on his head — also got him clowned on, with one person commenting, “‘Oh great heavens!!’ ahh reaction.”

Another poor boyfriend fell over while bowling, but the important part is he picked himself up and dusted himself off; unfortunately, this would undoubtedly be enough to give some people the ick, as would the video of a man flexing while walking toward the camera after getting a strike.

In one video, a girl named Lauren posted footage of her boyfriend getting a strike followed by a screenshot of all the times he’s texted her about bowling, and it’s a lot — girlfriends have assembled in the comments to try and work out exactly why their boyfriends are so into bowling to no avail.

So consider this the next time you have a crush on someone and you’d rather it just go away: Ask them to go bowling. If they’re anything like these boyfriends, they’ll probably do something ridiculous and make your crush disappear instantaneously.
