Today, we get a look at what it's like to be a crazy driver who thinks it's a good idea to go three times the speed limit up a mountain that doesn't have a railing.

Seen above, the footage shows a daring race car driver accidentally launching his Mitsubishi Evo VIII off an infamous corner of Pike's Peak. The car was going over 60 miles per hour when it launched off the cliffside as if it were a hang-glider.


Located in Colorado, the summit is a popular spot for aggressive drivers to push the limits of both themselves and their cars.


Believe it or not, the driver survived the crash with minimal injuries thanks to the car's roll cage and professional racing seats.
