Weeks after Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner sparked backlash for naming their son “my penis” in Arabic, the pair have proved that their taste in birthday party themes isn’t much better than their taste in baby names.

This week, the on-again-off-again power couple sparked backlash for thinking it would be a great idea to deck out their children Stormi and Aire Webster’s joint birthday party with several nods to the Frat bro icon’s bygone Astroworld music festival, where 10 people died after a crowd crush in November 2021.

While much of the imagery featured in the high-end bash originally appeared on Scott’s 2018 album of the same name — namely, the creepy inflatable heads depicting both Stormi, 5, and Aire, 1 — fans were less-than-thrilled the pair seemed to have forgotten about the deadly tragedy.

After taking a moment to comprehend the shocking revelation of *gasps* a member of the Kar-Jenner Klan did something tone-deaf, others speculated whether the ill-conceived birthday party was a litmus test for the Astroworld aesthetic after the tragedy.

“So…. Basically, soft-launching the idea of another Astroworld by using her kid’s birthdays to gauge a reaction,” added @Rayye_Wit.

Meanwhile, others entirely failed to grasp the concept of contextual changes!

After all, there’s a reason why we don’t see a whole lot of dudes with Charlie Chaplain mustaches these days.

So, Kylie, Travis, remember, while Kris Jenner can do a lot of things — including crafting a fake Kardashians plot to hide your ass — necromancy is not one of them.
