Joe Biden asleep at the G-20 conference


Let's Go Brandon is everywhere. And it all started when NBC reporter Kelli Stavast was interviewing Brandon Brown after his Sparks 300 win at Talladega when she misinterpreted the crowd's "f**k Joe Biden" chant as 'let's go, Brandon'. 



Since her mistake, the chant has taken on a life of its own. The saying has been seen on billboards, in top-charting songs, and most recently, heard over the loudspeaker of an American Airlines flight. 



And while we are not here to throw shade on the sentiments behind the phrase, we do take offense with the general lame-ness of the meme's surprising rise in popularity. 



When Trump was President, people, mostly liberals had no qualms about voicing their disdain for the President, oftentimes in very public and very obscene ways. Think Cathy what's her name holding a Trump head, which she was criticized for by people on both sides of the political aisle. Or think back to YG's 'FDT' song which was popular for a period of time.

The difference here is that liberals didn't need to come up with a secret code word to voice said disdain. There was no inside joke, no code to be broken, just people voicing their opinions. The difference is that while many football stadiums around the country and posters on the internet have no second thoughts about shouting F**K Joe Biden, many people have really latched on to the 'Let's Go Brandon' mantra. Which sorry to say, makes you look like a child who was told to clean his room or brush his teeth and instead didn't do those things but has decided to lie about. 



By all means, chant F-Joe Biden as much as you want, I promise most people with more than a few brain cells in their heads and extra spending cash their wallets don't give a sh*t and in fact would agree with you wholeheartedly. 



But the little kid games, the pretending your in on some joke is embarrassing to watch. In a country where people claim to love their personal freedoms, some people seem a little afraid of outwardly voicing those opinions. So well say it, Fuck Joe Biden. See how easy that was?
