While late physicist Stephen Hawking may have been accused of partaking in “underage orgies” during his trip to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s private island in 2006, it appears there is one thing he didn’t do — watching people with dwarfism struggle to complete math problems.

As the contents of the 900 pages of unsealed court documents on the late billionaire’s dealings began flooding headlines and social media alike on Wednesday evening, notable shitposter @drefanzor headed to Twitter with their own spin on the story, a Q and A session with both Q’s and A’s for the ages.

“Wait, are you telling me that Stephen Hawking frequented the Island for pleasure?” the unnamed questioner appeared to ask in @drefanzor’s transcript.

“Yes. Jeffrey loved to have intellectuals visit the island so he could reward them for their hard work for humanity and for other darker reasons,” the mystery respondent replied.

“Did Jeffrey ever talk to you about Stephen Hawking’s proclivities?” the querent pressed.

“Yes,” they answered. “He enjoyed watching undressed midgets solve complex equations on a too-high-up chalkboard.”

Despite containing all the makings of a perfect Little Saint James Island anecdote, nudity, eye-roll-worthy elitism, and an avalanche of concerning implications, one problem remained with this explosive interview: The entire thing was complete bullshit, a sentiment @drefanzor tried to hint at with the image’s caption.

“I thought it was outlandish enough to be obvious,” they wrote alongside a screengrab of the photo’s alt text, one that simply read “MEME.”

So take it from @drefanzor and a bunch of thwarted memers: Always check the image description, lest you get absolutely demolished by the overlords of community notes.
