Despite Suicide Squad’s definitive status as the worst film of the 20-teens, it seems David Ayer cut truthers are still around in 2023 and have resorted to harassing Lady Gaga in their pursuit of excavating a bad movie from a *really* bad movie.

On Tuesday, February 14, Suicide Squad fan page @CutAyer replied to Lady Gaga after she shared a glimpse of her and Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker and Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux with a modest proposal — demanded the release of the Ayers cut or forever live in Margot Robbie’s shadow.

“Hey @ladygaga we still haven't seen Margot Robbies proper portrayal of Harley Quinn in 2016 Suicide Squad,” they wrote. “Would you like them to #ReleaseTheAyerCut before your performance so fans can fully focus on your Harley?”

Unfortunately for @CutAyer and all five remaining Jared Leto Joker apologists, Lady Gaga ignored their inquiry, though thousands of Twitter users did not

“*on my deathbed* please…tell them my last wish was that someone release a marginally less bad version of the worst movie I’ve ever seen,” wrote Twitter user @JohnDiLillo in a post that has since garnered nearly 50,000 views.

Alongside dunking on the fact that no one, except for David Ayer and the admin of @CutAyer — who let’s be real here, may or may not just be David Ayer — want the cut to see the light of day, several questioned the absolute derangement required to let such a post spill from one’s keyboard and into the endless Twitter void.

“The shameless act of typing that tweet and not for a second thinking ‘what am I doing’ is baffling to me,” wrote @Puppermaniac.

So @CutAyer, if you’re reading this, please, for the love of god, let the Snyderverse die. We’ve seen enough.
