Every concertgoer has made this mistake at least once. But few have made it with, the so-hard-to-get-that-they-started-a-government-inquiry-into-TicketMaster, Taylor Swift tickets.

In a recent viral TikTok of a woman sitting in the backseat of her friend's car trying to work up the nerve to tell them that their Taylor Swift tickets were actually for the day before, the thought experiment of “what happens when you totally screw the pooch” is put on full display.

The overwhelming question swirling around the comment section and my own brain, “How did you let this happen?!” left many in the comments wondering how someone can **** up this badly.

TicketMaster sends multiple emails and notifications before each concert date. It will even remind you while that concert is happening.

“Do other people not check their tickets a million times to make sure everything’s right?????” asks one commenter.

“Just wait for the gate attendant to tell you when you arrive,” offers another commenter as a solution.

There has yet to be an update for this situation so for all we know the poster is dead or suffering many consequences of not checking her emails.

RIP Swiftie friend, you would have loved seeing “No Body No Crime” live.
